Privacy notice.

Who we are

Blink Plus d.o.o., Cilenškova ulica 2, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia, runs sparkplugads.com under the name Sparkplug. We are the controller of the personal data described here. This means we decide how it is used.

If you have a question about this notice, write to info@sparkplugads.com. We have no data protection officer. Your email goes to the people who handle your data.

This notice covers sparkplugads.com. It does not cover app.sparkplugads.com, where people who work with us sign in.

When you visit the site

Our web server records each request in an access log. This includes your IP address, the page you asked for, the time, and request headers your browser sends, such as its user agent and the page that linked you here. We use the log to keep the site running and to spot attacks. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the site and protecting it against attacks, under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The log is deleted after at most 90 days.

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. Its script reads details about how the page loaded in your browser, including load times, the page address and the referring page. It sends these details to Cloudflare. Cloudflare also receives your IP address and says it does not use it to identify or track you. We use the data to count visits, see which pages people read and see how fast they load. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in doing this, under Article 6(1)(f). Cloudflare keeps the detailed data for 7 days, then keeps only totals.

When you write to us

The Talk to us form asks for your name, work email, brand, website and rough monthly spend on Meta ads. You can also add a message. When you press Send, the form emails those details to us. We don't put them in a database, a CRM or a mailing list. We don't send an automatic reply. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and the contents of your email.

We use your details to answer your enquiry and arrange a call if you want one. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to a business that asked to hear from us, under Article 6(1)(f). If you write on your own behalf about a contract with us, the basis is Article 6(1)(b).

You don't have to write to us. If you use the form, you must fill in every field except the message. Without those details, the form won't send and we can't reply.

We delete your message and our replies 12 months after the conversation ends. If it leads to a contract, we keep them with that contract's records for as long as we keep those records.

We make no automated decisions about you. A person reads every message.

Who handles your data for us

These companies handle personal data for us:

• Resend, run by Plus Five Five, Inc., United States. It sends the form's email to our inbox.
• MXroute LLC, United States. It hosts the info@sparkplugads.com mailbox, where your message and our replies are kept.
• Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany. It runs the server that hosts the site, in the EU, and keeps the access log.
• Cloudflare, Inc., United States. It counts visits to the site.

Data sent outside the EU

Resend, Cloudflare and MXroute are in the United States, so your data leaves the EU when they handle it. Resend and Cloudflare are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has found gives adequate protection. Resend's processing agreement also includes the standard contractual clauses. Write to us for details of these safeguards.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data. You can also ask us to correct or delete it, limit how we use it, or send it to you in a format you can pass on. You can object to our use of your data where we rely on legitimate interest. Write to info@sparkplugads.com. We reply within a month.

If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Slovenian supervisory authority, the Informacijski pooblaščenec, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, gp.ip@ip-rs.si, www.ip-rs.si. You can also complain to the authority in the EU country where you live or work.

Cookies

sparkplugads.com sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser's storage. The Cloudflare analytics script reads load details in your browser and stores nothing.

Sign in takes you to app.sparkplugads.com, which uses cookies to keep you signed in.

When we update this notice, we publish the changes here and update the date at the top.
