Work with us starts through a brand's round.
Each round has a page on the brand's site. It explains what the round is for, what it pays and that Sparkplug runs it. Applications happen there. We don't take applications on this site or keep a waiting list for work.
It asks who you are and why you like the product. You can add where you post and something you've made. We never ask how many followers you have.
The brief tells you what to show and what your video needs to meet to be paid. Before you apply, the round's page tells you whether the product is sent and whether you keep it.
Use your own phone, in a place where you'd use the product. Say it in your own words.
Someone on our team reviews every audition and sends you a note. An audition video that meets the brief is paid, whether or not you're asked to continue. If we reject your audition, we explain why.

Before each month starts, we agree with you how much filming you can take on. That can change from month to month.

You can decline a brief without explaining why. It leaves no trace in your record.

You keep your other clients and your own channels.

A brief gives you product facts, the claims you can make and real examples. You choose the words.
An audition video that meets the brief is paid, whether or not you're asked to continue.
You get the acceptance standard before you film. We pay for each video that meets it.
After the audition, when the brand spends money running your video as an ad, you get a share of that spend on top of your video payment. Audition videos earn no share of spend.
Your contract is with Sparkplug. We're your counterparty and pay you from our own funds. You never have to chase a brand for payment.
The brand's page tells you what the audition pays. Your agreement sets out your rates before any paid work starts.
The audition fee pays for the brand to use your audition video as an ad. It covers that use in full. Audition videos earn no share of spend.
Every other use of your work is set out together in your agreement. You sign it before any paid work starts.
We never make an AI copy of your face or voice, and we never use them to train a model.
Every video is disclosed as advertising.
We list the ads still using your work. The brand pauses its ads, and we confirm to you that delivery has stopped.
We don't rank you against other people, on this site or in our own tools.
Declining a brief leaves no trace.
A person reviews every audition and writes you a note. If we reject it, we tell you why.
We pay you from our own funds, on the dates in your agreement.
Adults who apply through a brand's round. The round's page explains who it's looking for.
No. We never ask how many followers you have, and your audience size plays no part in who we pick.
No. You never pay us for an audition or for anything else.
You invoice us each month as an independent business. We pay you from our own funds on the dates in your agreement. You handle your own taxes.
No. The brand runs them as ads. A partnership ad shows your name, so the brand needs your permission before it runs. You give that permission from your own account.
Before you apply, the round's page tells you whether the product is sent to you, who pays for shipping and whether you keep it.
Your own phone and good light. The brief tells you what to film.
Yes. You keep your other clients. If a brand needs you to stay away from its direct competitors, your agreement names them and sets out the time involved. That time is paid.
